Part II: Summer Residency - Dates TBD for 2025

Summer residency in New Jersey at Madison Community Arts Center focusing on the art of ekphrastic writing.

Residency participants will have their writing in a full color compilation book alongside movement videos from our 10 Dancers-in-Residence.
- Participants must commit to the residency date.
- In-person Book Launch in October.
- $250 prize awarded to 2 writers for the most creative ekphrastic piece written during the residency.
- The Arts center is a 5 minute walk from NJ Transit Madison Station.

Interested? Send an email to info@artsbythepeople.org with Summer Residency in the subject line. Include your name, bio, 3 sample poems or 2 prose pieces under 2500 words. Also include if you have participated in any ABTP programs currently or in the past. We’d like to know!
Space is limited to 10 writers.
