i wish i were see through i wish i were glass (Poem)

i wish i were see through i wish i were glass

i wish i could tell you that nothing will last

the pain in my brain that locks up my soul

the key to it drowned in a bottomless bowl

i wish i were see through i wish i were glass

the nothingness i feel might never pass

this pain in my stomach my head in my back

i limp and i limp oh what a daunting task

i wish i were see through i wish i were glass

so these cracks in my memory will make sense at last

i wish my head wasn't such an unbreakable cage

but i'd  break through screaming and fighting in a rage

i wish i were see through i wish i were glass

invisible invincible i could rest and laugh

people would stare through me

as they already do

but now i could sneak past

as they enjoy the view

i wish i were see through i wish i were glass

maybe i am

as i take off my mask
