There is a Rumor among Hospital Workers That a Last Tear is Shed at the Moment of Death
There is no hard evidence it’s
something that is only talked about
yet supposedly there are those
who have seen it a nurse or a
doctor or even a relative standing
over the bed you would have to
be there at the moment of death
and a last tear sounds right because
whether it is a physiological event
or a wave goodbye to the madness
of being in a body it seems fitting
that as we pass into
something else there would be a
tear to say I went places I did things
I loved I was going to do this I was
going to go there and now all that is finished.
