One Good Scene

One Good Scene offers creative writing students an opportunity to work on a 3-minute script, set at a table with two people.

We explore the art of great storytelling by exposing the participants to samples of classic films with 2 actors using great dialogue. The students then write their own scripts and return a few weeks later to share their work. Our teaching artists listen and make edit suggestions. At the end of the month-long workshop, two actors will come in and read the participants 3-minute scripts. This final event will be open to the public.
